It was an essential tool for daily arithmetic, trade, tax collection, and bookkeeping for over a thousand years. Instead of just giving answers, Socrates would ask people questions to make them think more deeply about their own ideas. This method is commonly used in educational settings such as law schools and philosophy courses. </p>]]></description>

Because of the compass, we have been able to discover so much more about the world and developed important trade routes. Over time, the compass was refined with better materials and designs, and while modern navigation often uses GPS, the compass is still important for orientation and exploration.</p>]]></description>
