Group members will ask and answer questions from Engaging Icebreaker game with categories in life, random, deep, experiences, "if you could...", and "would you rather..." (BestSelf Co., 2019). Group members will select a card to ask each group member then will answer themselves. Based on responses, it can begin to establish trust and display authenticity. Also, vulnerability can reinforce trust.

Stage 2- Group members will work cohesively and productively when conducting interactive role-based scenarios and case-study review. All members will receive group and counselor feedback while providing input to gauge progress and reinforce learning outcomes. 

Stage 3- Group closure will include a wrap-up lesson. This lesson will allow group members to share a self-reflection. Group members will share one benefit or strategy learned and how they plan to implement in the future. Also, group members will have an opportunity to share any feedback. Additionally, the group counselor will reinforce the importance of maintaining confidentiality after group closure and provide contact information if questions arise.

The transformational leadership style will provide the best outcomes. This style allows for the leader to serve as a role model, inspire, and support group objectives based on the needs of individual participants (Cherry, 2023). Also, the group leader will provide clear instructions for ensuring learning outcomes are achieved.

Group members will be able to speak uninterrupted and share thoughts in a safe space. The ability to speak freely in a safe space can create catharsis. Catharsis is enabled when individuals feel relief when expressing their inner-most thoughts.

Universality is established when individuals feel a sense of belonging. Universality can be felt when surrounded by individuals with similar military backgrounds and/or life experiences.

Group members will receive direct advice by group counselor. The group counselor will provide advice for navigating civilian workforce struggles associated with identity, self-worth, and differing communication styles.

Interpersonal learning may be obtained while interacting with group members and counselor. Also, scenario-based lessons may provide an opportunity to internalize feedback.
