Probably one of the best pictures you can find out there on the internet, this creature looks like a long serpent in the water, and could potentially be the famed Nessie.
It's said that the person who shot this picture was a whisky worker so who knows what he was seeing, but this is probably the clearest photo that does start a conversation.

This article on National Geographic is a small explanation by some on what's really being seen when people report Loch Ness sightings. While Nat Geo is certainly a reputable source, this story just gives one side, also people might assume since its Nat Geo that they're automatically right, and throw a tremendous amount of bias onto their theory.

This video shows what someone believes hard proof that the monster of the Loch is real. Who knows how much editing was done while they put this video together, and if some of the things that happened in the video are indeed true then why didn't it make a bigger news story? There's no way to prove this is true, and without evidence to the contrary it's in a state of flux.

This story talks about the first "real photo" of Nessie. It goes on to thoroughly debunk the photo, however, the theories varied and no conclusive theory was given. It does throw caution to the monster theory, or at least strike down the validity of the photo.

This photo depicts an elephant seal that was at a time believed to be the Loch Ness Monster thanks to some pranksters who wanted to fool colleagues. The seal died, and one zoologist wanted to prank his friends who were looking for the real monster. In the end the ruckus it caused was farther reaching that the prankster wanted. While this floating in the Loch would cause some people to believe, upon examination the prank should have ended

Some people believe Loch Ness to be a dinosaur species that survived extinction, others have come up with many other possible ideas. This article, goes over each hypothetical creature that the Loch Ness monster could be. It's fascinating because it was always just common sense to think it was a dinosaur, or relative of one, but going over those ideas (no matter how crazy) really makes it more interesting.

This video, while hilarious, is more of a debunking and making fun of "proof" video thank actual explanations. Despite the obvious joke video that it's supposed to be, if you pay attention it opens your eyes to the fact that if someone can make fun of "proof" like that then why are we believing that information when it comes out online. The narrator even takes the time to explain similarities between creatures that are known to be real, and things in pictures said to be the Loch Ness Monster. Good video for a laugh, and can make you pay attention if you're not closed minded.

In this video a guy hunts for Nessie. Like those ghost hunters on TV, but without the budget this guy looks for the monster. Obviously he finds nothing, and he looks dumb while doing it. Even sounding like he pretty much looks up nonsense on conspiracy blogs and just regurgitates it like he's a parrot. In all the video is just a joke, and as bad as television paranormal investigators.

Truth behind the monster of the Loch?

This picture, from the Nat Geo article referenced earlier, shows what some people believe the monster really could be. In this it shows that an elephant swimming could be what people see. Now this being real is in actuality less than 1% because elephants coming from nowhere, and swimming in a Scottish body of water without being noticed is basically just as crazy as a monster that can live at the depths of the Loch being there. No idea how someone came up with this, but the fact that there have been multiple sightings means the elephant idea is probably out the window.
