The reason i took this picture is because one of the reasons i love my neighbourhood so much is because that there are many cute cats around my block. The cats are well behaved and makes us feel comftable around them. Through this picture i am trying to say that the cats have been in our neighbourhood for many years now,becoming a part of it.For the picture i used the technique of forced perspective. In the picture,it kind of look like the cat is comftablely resing on the wall,with the use of framing-based force perspective. I think the block sign is a very important thing to define the different blocks in the neighbourhood . Through this photo i am trying to say that everyday,many people walk past it and looks at it to find their way. It is what make our unique from every other blocks.
For this picture i used the rule of thirds technique by not standing in the middle of the photo,but instead at the side of it. Almost everyday,i would walk here to the bus stop as well as many other people. Along the sheltered area,there are stone benches for us to rest at. It is a place where i would walk past to take bus to leave my neighbourhood and the place i walk past to come back home. Through this picture i am trying to tell that this sheltered area is very important,it prevents us from getting drench in the rain just to go to the bus stop and blocks us from the shining bright sun. This place is a very memorable place of the neighbourhood for me. When i was young i would always play there,relax and chill there. Much of my childhood memories happened there. It has always been my favourite place of the neighbourhood. Through this picture i am trying to show that the stools below my block has been through many happy memories with me and it is my favourite place in my neighbourhood.For the picture i used the forced perspective technique. In the picture i lifted up my leg to make it look bigger then it supposed to be with the use of bird eye view. I also used a black and white filter for this picture.
