Hey, what's up, everybody?

I'm Zenaida here to talk about and celebrate Latinidad. 

In our food, music, politics, and literature, Latinos have played an enormous role in shaping Latin America and U.S. culture. 

I love that I was able to infuse some of my Puerto Rican roots into this collage.  A lot of people don’t know that pina colada originated in Puerto Rico.  I’m proud of my Latino heritage in every way.  I’m always looking for open doors for us to continue expanding in all industries. I come from a big family.  So we all try to get together, whether it’s barbeques, birthdays, or just family dinners.  

But these contributions are frequently overlooked, and the size and influence of our community don't get the recognition they deserve.  As a kid, she was active in various activities; however, music remained her primary focus.  It's in our textured hair or the African drums used in cumbia, merengue, and salsa rhythms. Later, I attended UIC, University of Chicago, DePaul, and Concordia University and majored in education. There are many ways you can make Café Bustelo, whether it’s through your standard drip machine, a French press, an Aeropress, a Keruig, as a pour-over, or as a cold brew. I enjoy good book music and movie videos as I sit drinking a delicious cup of Cafe Bustelo. Baseball, football, and soccer are my favorite pastime.
