Specific objectives: developing attention and concentration
Materials needed (bows/one per child)
The children run to the sound of the music and whenever it stops they look for an empty hoop.
These bows are taken down, one by one, until only one bow and two children remain. At the end of the game, the winner is the one who is quicker to get into the hoop when the music stops.
This is the game that the children most like to play outside and as we have a physical education teacher once a week this game was run today by her. (10 May)

Game: Grab the tails

All children have for a tail, a handkerchief or waffle paper hanging from their pants. They scatter in the space and with one hand protect the tail, they start chasing each other in order to grab as many tails as they can from the other children. The winner is the child who, when the game ends, will have the most tails in his possession.

Nice game, we call it "Birds in the nest"- similar concept.

Bowling with 3R twist

Our class loves playing bowling indoors or outdoors. We use different materials (classic skittles, students' decorated paper cups, plastic bottles or cans) and different formation of the materials. We also keep scoring boards of the results. In the video there is even a fun version with a ball made by filling a balloon with water and putting it in the freezer. We haven't tried that one yet, but we will soon do.

Since we are in "Friends with nature" project we propose that you pick your favourite nature friendly or 3R material as your skittle and go get some "Friends with nature" bowling fun.

Children stand in a big circle. Teacher will call out 2 names, students with these names have to change their spots. It is also possible to use other elements that mark who will change the spots. For example student with caps or students with skirts etc.
To make it more interesting students or teacher can also say in how students can move. For example hopping, baby steps, circling and so on.

Children stand in line, one child stands opposite and is "grandma".

Children ask: "Grandma, what's the time?"

"Grandma" answers randomly: two elephant steps, 8 bunny steps, 3 mice steps, 1 giants step...
Children move toward "grandma" with amount of steps s/he answered. The first one who reaches and touches grandma, becomes next "grandma" in the game.

Our favorite game is team hunting. 
We all together decide which child will be the main hunter and the rest of us scatter in the yard. We count down and the chase begins. Every child that is caught joins the hunter and united they all hunt together. When there is only one child left, the game stops and he is the winner!

İSTOP can be played with different age groups and varying number of students.

Materials:

A soft ball

How to Play:

1- Have the players stand in a circle outside.

2- Choose one player to stand in the middle of the group to throw the ball.

3- The student in the middle should throw the ball in the air by naming another player in the group.

4- The player whose name was told tries to catch the ball while others try to run away from the circle.

5- When the player whose name was told catches the ball the other players freeze.

6- The player with the ball calls out a color and the others try to touch something with that color.

7- The player holds the ball can throw the ball to hit the ones who cannot find any object with that color.

8- If everybody can find an object with that color the player holds the ball can choose another color and it continues till another player is hit by the ball.

How to play Country, country, we want a soldier!
The players are divided into two teams, holding hands to form two lines, facing each other.
One of the two teams shouts Country, country, we want a soldier!
The other team answers Who?
The first team will answer by saying On ... and they choose a player from the second team.
The chosen player must run and try to break the chain of hands formed by the first team. If he manages to break the chain, it means that he has saved himself and returns to his team. If he fails to break the chain, he will go to the team that called him.
The team in which only one player remains loses the game.

Minimum players: 6 people
People stand in a circle and hold hands. One of the players stands in the middle of the circle. Players who hold hands start to sing and move in a certain direction. According to the lyrics they stop moving and raise their hands up to create gates. The player who was in the middle of the circle has to go under the raised hands and stop behind someones back and push him or her into the circle. The game starts all over with the new player in the middle of the circle and the game lasts as long as players choose to.

The game "Water to the shore"
Children stand on the "shore" behind the line, there is water in front of the line. The game manager gives various commands: "Water!" or , "To the shore!" Children must act accordingly. Whoever gets it wrong is out of the game.
