lots of information on their policies and practices available on their website. Lots of information about cotton, rubber, fair trade, transparency, production, CO2 emissions. each section is pretty brief. Maybe because they're trying to make it more accessible? It also has green-wash vibes to me but maybe that's because it' just has the esthetics of sustainability. They have been vetted by third parties as well

Panda express is a common escape with my lab mates. Their sustainability policy is: "Panda Restaurant Group understands that the future of our restaurants can only be as bright as the planet on which they reside, so we’re reducing our carbon footprint and use of natural resources through a number of efforts including commercially compostable packaging, oil recycling and energy-efficient buildings whenever and wherever possible."
Pretty generic. Idk what to expect because I don't think any brand's core goal is saving the planet. They probably calculate the minimum they can spend on green-signaling so that customers have a somewhat less guilt free experience. Stock market strategy.

During the pandemic, Trader Joe's workers attempted to unionize but were consistently shut down by higher-level supervisors. Additionally, Trader Joe's denied several benefits including higher pay to the workers during the pandemic after a demand made by the "Crew Members for a Trader Joe's Union" asked for Trader Joe's to consider hazard pay. Though Trader Joe's is still not unionized, they did grant workers an additional $2 of hazard pay, and eventually increased this pay to $4.

In regards to what Trader Joe's offers as benefits to workers, the company provides paid time off and health plans to its crew members.

I am not entirely sure why Trader Joe's prevents its workers from unionizing.
