Who? Hurricane Irma ripped apart this very large tree
What? Hurricane Irma ripped through my back yard as a Category 2 destroying as much as she could in her path, including this large tree and many others.
Where? This photo of Mr. Lorax and the fallen tree was in my very own  backyard
When? This tree took a fall early this September when Hurricane Irma ripped through South Florida.
Why? Who? This is Timmy and his wife Tammy (in the corner) the Southern toads, they are very friendly but sometimes scare me when they make loud banging noises while hopping around in my gutter late at night. 
What? The lovely toad next to Mr. Lorax is called a Southern toad which is a native species to Florida as well as most of the Southeastern United States.
Where? This photo was taken in front of my house where Timmy usually hangs out in this plant. Southern toads like warm wet environments like plants, grass, mulch and of course, my gutter.
When?This photo was taken at approximately 10 pm last night. Southern toads usually come out around dusk and are active throughout the night, they also can be seen on wet and rainy days too. 
Why? I chose to share this photo of Mr. Lorax and Timmy with you today because Southern toads are the most common species around my house. I believe I have seen at least 15 different ones just walking to my front door last night. Since they are native to Florida and are commonly found here I felt it was important to share this information with you. Who? I didn't catch his name but this is an example of a highly overpopulated and invasive species. He kept trying to bite and his relatives invade my house often.
What? The rude reptile next to Mr. Lorax is a brown anole. Brown anoles are considered invasive because they are too competitive with the native Carolina anoles and they have an extremely large population now compared to the native Carolina anoles. 
Where? This photo was captured when we found the brown anole in my kitchen, since there is such a high population density around my house and in Florida in general, the brown anoles easily squeeze into my house. They were originally from the Bahamas and Cuba and now are overpopulated in Florida and other southern states like Georgia. 
When? This was taken around 6pm on Friday, December 15th,2017 .They are usually out during the day and asleep at night so they are most commonly found mid day.
Why? Mr. Lorax chose to point out this invasive species to you becuase they are very common around our S. Who? Mr. Lorax was very happy to see when Catie's dad got her this. Goal Zero is the maker of this solar panel charger .
What? The Goal Zero Nomad 14 Plus is a solar powered charger that instantly charges electronics when the solar energy is absorbed. There is a small plug thats plugged into the back of the portable panel that you can connect any chargers with a USB cable. 
Where? My dad ordered this from Amazon online. The reason being that since I love the beach I will never have to worry about leaving the warm sun and sand to keep in touch with my family when now I can just use the sun. 
When? This was taken outside by my pool as I was charging my phone using the energy from the sun.
