Since God and my family come first in my life, I decided to start there.  I am married to my husband, Joshua, and we have a baby girl, Shiloh Grace, that is due in September.  Shiloh has a very rare condition and is not expected to survive long outside the womb.  We are so in love with her already, and I plan to carry her as long as her little body will last.  We also have two dogs, Bonnie and Trixie, at home who complete our family.  We spend whatever time we can outside together.  I enjoy kayaking, reading, and traveling whenever we can.  We are currently working on a bucket list of things to do as a family of three.
Career:

I am enrolled in the Education track and am hoping to graduate in December 2018.  I am the Simulation Hospital & Skills Lab Director at The University of Texas at Tyler.  I absolutely love my job and am passionate about educating future nurses.  I graduated from UT Tyler with my BSN in May of 2012, and worked for a little over two years at the local heart hospital on the telemetry floor.  I am excited about this class, and look forward to how it will help me in my current role along with my future career in education.
