Once upon a time, there was a small town. Its name was Verdeflor. The town was next to a very big forest. The people loved the forest. They lived with the trees and animals in a good way. The forest was green and full of life.

Everyday, the people were happy in their town. The air was fresh and clean. Until one day, some new people came. They had big machines. They wanted to cut the trees to build a big store and houses. They told the people this would bring money.

The machines made loud noise. The trees fell down. The animals and birds left the forest. The small river became dry. A girl named Elara was very sad. She loved the forest so much. She did not want the forest to go away. She wanted to help.

Elara talked to the town leaders and the new people. Because of that, she had a new idea. "Don't cut the trees," she said. "We can use the forest for trips. People can come to see the nature." She told them this would also bring money, and the forest could stay safe. The leaders listened to her. They liked her idea very much.

The new people did not cut the trees. The people of Verdeflor planted new trees. The animals came back, and the river had water again. And finally, the town became famous for its beautiful nature trips. Elara became a guide. The town was happy and the forest was safe.
