An ordinary day for a chemistry teacher would start around 30 minutes before high school classes start. What the teacher does during these 30 minutes varies on the day. The teacher could do morning tutorials, attend meeting or meet with other teachers about lesson plans. Then when the bell rings for the start of the high school day the teacher will teach lessons, give tests or quizzes, or perform labs. Then after the school day a teacher could stay for after school tutorials or get materials ready for the next day.
