The quotes "everything has to do with geography" means that everything in life, and even things that aren't in life, revolves around geography. For example, your job evolves around geography because maybe you work in a body of water like the coast guard or Navy. Or maybe you work around the world and are always traveling. Your life also has to do with geography because you live in different places. If you were to be born in Michigan, raised in Illinois, and move to Virginia like i did, that would evolve your life around geography because you live in different parts of the world. This also applies to you if you just were born, raised, and live in one place because that place is still a part of geography. "Everything evolves around geography"

The quote 'geography is everything' literally means what it says. Geography is everything. If we lived in a post-apocalyptic world where everything was rocky, we wouldn't have farms with food or rivers with water. We would die a quick, horrible death with a sharp aching pain in our guts. People would die as soon as they were born. More would be depressed into seclusion because of the grim prospect of impending doom. The few smart people wouldn't be able to express their ideas if there were mountains and rough terrain surrounding them. Or, if the world was normal but we lived near other continents like Asia instead of South America, we would go equally fast after starting more wars than we could fight. The state we are currently in is good enough. Nothing's perfect.
