By the early 2000’s, Montenegro had facilities for producing 400,000 metric tons of crude steel. 1,000,000 metric tons of bauxite. Industries include metal pressing, engineering, wood- processing, textile manufacture,chemicals, leather and footwear etc.</div><div><br></div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>In Montenegro, Orthodox Christianity is their main religion which fits 72.24% of the country’s population. Their 2nd main religion is Islam which fits 17.74% of the Country's population. Another one is Roman Catholicism which fits 3.54%. On Montenegro’s constitution, 2 of the main rules are freedom of religion and freedom to practice one’s religion. Another main part of the constitution is protection of all people regardless of their national or ethnic origins.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>2 really great foods in Montenegro are called Seafood Buzara and Black Risotto. Black Risotto is Made with squid and squid ink, this fearsome looking dish is actually delicious. With plenty of garlic and parsley, it’s a real Mediterranean seaside treat. You can find it as a main dish and as part of seafood platters.The black color comes from cuttlefish ink and it's made with pieces of calamari. Seafood Buzara is made with the prawns and shellfish are cooked in a local blend of wines, tomato and herbs and are served with thick slices of European bread.</div><div><br></div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Some of Montenegro's best foods are Kacamak, Cicvara and Thick Soups. Kacamak is a mushy strong meal made from wheat, buckwheat, barley, or corn flour, which is served with cheese and sour milk. Cicvara is Made with white cooked potato and sour milk are being served. Thick soups in Montenegro are usually prepared with noodles, potato or vegetables. Especially interesting thick soap is the one made of nettle, and almost every thick soup included the cooked fresh meat, so they are extremely nourishing and rich.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>In Montenegro, fishing and hunting are popular. The state has 3 major national parks for their country for recreation. Which are, Durmitor, Biogradska Gora and Locen. increasing Integration into the Yugoslav state, including general provision of public education, brought an end to clan autonomy, but clans themselves remain an important element in Montenegrin social life. Scores of newspapers, including Pobjeda (“Victory”), are published in Montenegro. Local presses publish a few hundred books each year. There are several radio stations and a television studio and transmitter in the country.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Montenegro is parliamentary republic. The prime minister of Montenegro is Milo Đukanović. Milo has been the prime minister of Montenegro since 1991. He is the leader of the party and controls the assembly. In 1918, Montenegro became the kingdom of Serbs Croats and Slovens. After that The kingdom of Serbs, Croats and Slovenes became Yugoslavia all together. Later on, Croatia left Yugoslavia and became a separate country. In 2003, Yugoslavia became Serbia and Montenegro which then late on made them separate countries.. In Montenegro, voters elect a president for a 5 year term and assembly members for 4 year terms.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>The Center for Contemporary art in Montenegro is one of the most important cultural institutions of the country, located in its capital, Podgorica. The Miodrag Dado Djuric art gallery was opened in Cetinje only a short time ago, in 2012, but it will certainly play a major role in the promotion of Montenegrin art internationally. Pizana gallery, founded in 1990. Montenegrin artists express their vision in different ways. Including painting (Tadija Janičić, Milena Durutović, Milka Vujović), graphics (Biljana Keković, igor Rakčević) and sculpture (Željko Reljić, Ivanka Prelević-Vana). Or a combination of these; but exhibitions of major artists such as Salvador Dali and Andy Warhol have been presented in the past as well.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>In 11 B.C., Slavs settled in the Roman Empire. The Roman Empire included most of Europe’s Countries. Some are, Portugal, Spain, and some countries in North Africa. In the 1100’s, the Roman Empire became part of Serbia. The Ottoman Empire defeated the Roman Empire (Serbia). In 1878, Berlin congress recognized Montenegro as independent, then the doubled Montenegro’s land size. Prince Nicholas took the throne in 1860 and declared himself as the king in 1910.  During World War II, Italian and German troops took parts of Montenegro. By 1945, communists took control of all Yugoslavia. Yugoslavia’s constitution made them a federal state. Which had 6 republics. In 1992, Serbia and Montenegro created a new Yugoslavia when the other countries declared their independence.</div>]]></description>

The poem was composed by Petar II Petrović-Njegoš, he was one of the most famous bishops in Montenegrin history. Balkan, a mixture of folk influences and globalized pop music, is widespread. Musician Rambo Amadeus is famous for his pop/rock songs that often mock current politics and events. Montenegro’s famous instrument is the guise, it is wooden, one stringed and played with a bow.          <description><![CDATA[<div>In the 2003 census, 62.9 percent of the citizens said that they spoke Serbian, which was declared the republic's official language under its 1992 constitution, while only 25 percent said the language they spoke was Montenegrin. They found a language by somebody saying that&nbsp; “If the Serbs call it Serbian, the Croats Croatian, the Bosnians Bosnian, why shouldn't we call it Montenegrin?” They wanted it to be equal which then made the language called Montenegrin just like Croatian, Serbian and Bosnian.</div>]]></description>

A strong nationalist movement grew alongside Montenegrin resentment of Serbian attempts to minimize their distinctiveness. Many Montenegrins joined Bosnian, Croats and Serbs. in insisting that what is spoken in each of their respective countries is a language distinct from neighbouring languages, despite mutual intelligibility.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>In Europe, Montenegro is one of the poorest countries there. Some things that are mined in Montenegro are coal, and many other materials. Some products that are manufactures in Montenegro are, aluminum, food products, iron and steel. In Podgorica, there is a huge aluminum plant. Some crops from Montenegro include cabbages, cherries, figs, grapes, olives, potatoes, tobacco, tomatoes and watermelon. Some farmers in Montenegro raise dairy cattle, sheep, hogs and chickens and many more raised. Some imports in montenegro are petroleum products, machinery and food. Montenegro imports products more that they export products.</div><div><br></div>]]></description>

A president<br>&nbsp;in Montenegro is elected for a 5 year term and can only be president for 2 terms. Parliament in Montenegro consists of 81 members. In Montenegro, their head of state is Filip Vujanovic. He has been president since 2003. He is Montenegro’s 1st president because they declared independence in June 2006. To vote in Montenegro, you need to be 18 years old and older.</div>]]></description>

Today, the Illyrians are ancestors of the modern Albanians. During 3rd century BCE the Illyrians emerged with its old capital Skadar. Albania’s capital is Tirana. On May 21, 2006, 55% of Montenegro voted to end the federation of Serbia and Montenegro, which made the federation end and they are now separate countries.</div><div><br></div>]]></description>
