A belt was used about the waist to keep it tight. Men would also wear a toga. A toga is wore by upper class men when they go outside. A toga was about 18 feet long and 6 feet wide. But when the men wore it it was heavy and really uncomfortable according to hat the men said.

A tunic was worn mostly by unmarried women.  A tunic  was the primary garment worn by peasants. The women's Tunic was longer than men's tunic  most of the time. Then when you are Married you would most likely wear a stola. A stola is a long pleaded dress held on by a belt the woman wore. A cloak is was wore when there was bad weather like when it was cold a Roman Woman would wear it.
