Acknowledging our roots and recognizing those who have deviated from our ancestral pillars and recognizing the overlapping edges of our heritage. Rooting ourselves from a point of cultural appreciation vs appropriation. Being a vessel for unity in bringing members of different cultures together. This is a theory that is still unfolding for me. I have to come to realize the presence of a shared, common threads that tie us all together and stem from the same fabric of collective consciousness...and I suspect that part of my “Dharma” is to uncover these threads stemming from this fabric to bring about peace & unity in our world.  

For example, currently trying to uncover what this might look like in the “Asana” space. One thing that has came up for me is making Yoga even more accessible to people of different cultural backgrounds by removing cultural barriers within the framework of Language, Dialect, religion, representation, ableism, etc. So I am currently in space of cultural exploration and uncovering what some of these barriers/challenges might be.
