Overall : the amount of CO2 emissions in OECD and the industry wastes contributing to that of greenhouse gas emission accounted for the highest in 2002. Additionally, it is predicted that the figure for developing countries will exceed the data on OECD, and the industry wastes will remain the primary rationale behind the global carbon footprint in 2030.

• In 2030, it is forecasted that the amount of co2 emission in developing countries will surpass that of OECD (38%to 48%), contributing to the decrease of the remaining figures( OECD : 52%- 43%, transition economies 10% to 9% )

• Industry wastes made up the highest amount of global carbon footprint, , at more than 6 billion tons.

• consumer ( approximately 4 billion tons), transportation ( more than 2 billion tons)

• other and waste combustion were nearly the same, at around 1 billion ton in 2002.

• it is forecasted that these figures will stay in the same order as 2002 in 2030, with the exception of other and waste combustion waste( other kind of waste will exceed that of waste combustion in 2030)
