The Least Smartest Decision Jack made: 
Chapter 23
Jack was walking, when he ran into a police officer. He accidentally responded to his own name! "Hey Jack! The officer yelled. Jack turned around. Yeah?" Then, realizing his mistake, he turned, and ran into a store. He nearly got caught by not thinking carefully.

Chapter 20-21
Jack was trapped in a vault with a girl named Sylvie Winters. He convinced her not to turn him in, and trusted her. "Hide! Sylvie commanded, pulling him toward a stack of boxes behind her." It was a good decision because he could have gotten caught, and went to jail, or to his grandmother. Instead, he escaped and got free. We think this was a bad decision because he did not know where they were going by just looking at the license plate and assuming they were going back to Massachusetts. In the text it states that Jack said "They were going home. Home to Massachusetts. 

The smartest decision Jack made on his journey was not running away from Gram and going to her. A bad decision Jack made is,when the cop said "hey Jack" the officer yelled "Yeah" and that forced him to have to run into the store but he had not realized until he was down in the basement that he was trapped. For example the text states " The door was nailed shut. He was trapped." 

Jack's best decision on his journey was convincing Sylvie to let him go. When Jack and Sylvie are trapped in the vault, Jack tells Sylvie why he needs to go see Lydia, and when Mrs. Magillicutty opens the vault, Sylvie doesn't give Jack away. "Mrs. Magillicutty asked.
