         <description><![CDATA[<div>The National Recovery Administration was established as a part of the National Recovery Act by President&nbsp; Franklin D. Roosevelt on June 16, 1933. It was created to stimulate business recovery during the Great Depression through fair-practice codes.</div>]]></description>

It's goal was to help workers gain their protection back by creating minimum wages and maximum hours, reducing unemployment, and discouraging unfair trade practices. This was done through the creation of industry-wide codes - nearly 800 of these that would help 22 million workers in America</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>The National Recovery Administration is not still active today. It was invalidated in 1935 when the Supreme Court considered it not useful. The NRA's success lasted for only a short amount of time as it had a controversy surrounding set wages being too low, and not including all workers.&nbsp;</div>]]></description>
