         <description><![CDATA[<div><strong>How is it found?<br></strong>scientists take measurements from the air above land, it is collected from ships, buoys and satellites. It is then measured over about a 30 year span.<br><br><strong>How has global temperature changed?</strong><br>according to an ongoing temperature analysis conducted by scientists at NASA, the average global temperature here has increased by about 1.4° Fahrenheit since 1880.</div>]]></description>

They take the temperature from over the ocean and from boats, buoys, and satellites.<br><br> <strong>How has it changed?</strong><br>The temperature of the water has been slower to rise than the land, but it has still gain heat. Its gain about 1° fahrenheit. </div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>    Carbon dioxide in the atmosphere can be measured from space.  With this technology, it is possible to measure gases, such as carbon dioxide methane, and ozone. These gases are responsible for global warming and greenhouse effects.<br>       Today, the burning of fossil fuels is adding carbon dioxide to the atmosphere faster than it can be removed. This means that the level of carbon dioxide is increasing.<br><br></div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div><strong>How is this measured?<br></strong>Department of Defense satellites provide the data which is needed so scientist can accurately monitor sea ice extent on a daily, monthly, and annual basis. In the 1970's they used a Polar orbiting satellite.<br><strong>How Has the data changed over time? <br></strong>Arctic sea ice appears to have reached its annual maximum extent on March 7. This is the lowest maximum in the 38-year satellite record. it says NSIDC will post a detailed analysis of the 2016 to 2017 winter sea ice conditions in our regular monthly post in early April.<br><br></div>]]></description>

Because the ocean is one continuous body of water, its surface tends to seek the same level throughout the world. However, winds,currents and variations in gravity and temperature prevent the sea surface from being truly equal.<br>    Global sea level has been rising over the past century, and the rate has increased in recent decades. In 2014, the global sea level was 2.6 inches above the 1993 average. sea level continues to rise at a rate of about one-eighth of an inch per year<br>    </div>]]></description>
