43% of the original cohort had AKI, more so in older children and those with lower pHs, higher HR, higher glucose, higher corrected sodiums and higher ureas. Children with AKI had lower scores in short term memory tests (not sig) and lower IQ 3-6 months later (100 v 103, p=0.005)
