         <title>Educational Goals</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>My educational goals are <strong><em>(1) Finish college with my Associates from Kap CC, (2) Graduate with my Bachelors degree at UH Manoa (3) Maintain a 3.5 GPA throughout my 4 years of college.  </em></strong>I chose these goals because I would want to reach my goal and to not waste all my hard work that I have done in high school and in my college years to go to waste.  <br><br>My plan to achieve my educational goals is to work hard and try my best and to never give up on myself when times get rough because I would want to be proud of myself from all of my accomplishments and if I keep pushing myself I would succeed through all of my achievements.  <br><br>Before achieving my academic goals it will come with obstacles which would be procrastinating, socializing too much, and stressing from other classes.  These would be potential obstacles because I would be procrastinating on homework before the due dates, I socialize too much with people and it would be distracting for me, and stressing out from other classes would be a big one because since I would be taking other classes too knowing the different due dates would make me stress out throughout the semester.  <br><br>After I graduate with my associates at KCC I will be successful in UH Manoa by studying hard in every single one of my classes and be on top of my homework and maintain a 3.5 GPA.  I would want to work hard at UH Manoa to earn my Bachelors degree in Early Childhood Education/Special Education by doing that I would try not to get distracted as much as I used to and to keep everything up to par.  </div>]]></description>

         <title>Career Goals </title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>After college a career that I would like to pursue in is to become a Preschool Special Education teacher because I have such a strong passion for young children I would want them to have a great education and I would like to watch them grow as I teach them throughout the school year.  My skills relate to my chosen career as a Preschool Teacher because I am very nurturing when it comes to children and being able to connect with them on a personal level by getting to know them shows a love for children which shows reasons on why my skills would fit the career as a teacher.  <br><br>To achieve my career goal first I would want to graduate from college and learn on how to manage a classroom with children, learn how to communicate with the children and staff members, and learn how to make the students feel comfortable in the school environment.  With knowing this kind of information before achieving my teacher career would help me to understand children and their background as well and being able to know who they are on the inside.  <br><br>Obstacles that I may encounter is breaking down when I do student teaching, not knowing what to do in a situation with a child, or not being able to be a good enough teach for students.  With these obstacles being able to go through them and experiencing all of them would teach me how to grow mentally.  <br><br>After KCC achieving my career goals would be to work with children during the Summer for practice before achieving my career goal as becoming a teacher.  Then, eventually graduate from UH Manoa to get myself prepared in becoming a teacher and finding or waiting for an opportunity in working for a school. </div>]]></description>

         <title>1. Google App Project</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>https://docs.google.com/presentation/d/1bUPxVpmeGK60MrQgeazn6vfEO_Pp4luhIfzNKngZDEA/edit?usp=sharing <br><br>For the Google App Project it relates to the SAMR because for the Google App Project I used Google Slides to create a version of a game show called "Jeopardy" which is modifying the learning for the students by testing their knowledge on some of the lessons that would be put together and that way the students would be able to collaborate with their teammates when answering the questions.<br><br>Through doing this project I learned the different tools within Google Slides to make it more animated and eye catching for the students.  I also learned how much work it takes to make presentations like re-creating the Jeopardy game show for the students to become more engaged in getting tested on the material that they learned.  <br><br>From this project I can apply what I learned towards my future teaching and professional practices by knowing how to create more projects for the students to become more engaged in a fun way to make sure that they understood the material correctly. </div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div><a href="https://create.piktochart.com/output/44041676-digital-tech-psa">https://create.piktochart.com/output/44041676-digital-tech-psa</a> <br><br>The Digital Citizenship "PSA" it illustrates SAMR.  SAMR is illustrated into the digital citizenship "PSA" because it's redefining how technology can transform a students' experience in what they have been learning.  For this PSA it is directing an issue in the world which is "Cyberbullying" and with this digital technology it would be setting a message across for people to look at to know about cyberbullying and if anyone shows signs of being cyberbullies they would be able to contact people that would be able to help them. <br><br>From doing this project I learned about using a different website and their different tools that would be used towards the PSA and I learned more about cyberbullying by doing research on the topic issue which gave me information about the topic. <br><br>The information that I gained from doing this project would help me with my future teaching and professional practices because since I learned about using a different website and know the tools that was being used it would be helpful for me to use this website again when I would want to create a PSA or flyer to make for the parents about important dates like activities that they would be doing at school or having a fun night at school for both the family and student.  </div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>https://www.canva.com/design/DADzfOZyccc/jJttkygEvOXFSSChZsDIUA/view?source=mobile&amp;_branch_match_id=755960330913874612 <br><br>SAMR is illustrated within the Infographic project because since the infographic is basically the first letter of SAMR which is substitution.  Substitution is illustrated within this project because since it is based on using the Google Apps to help the students become more familiar with the app it would be a substitution with writing a paper about how useful the Google Apps are.  Since it is a digital version it makes it more engaging for people to read and use the apps more because of how the infographic would catch the readers attention about the app or website that we are trying to pursue them into using.  <br><br>From doing this project I learned about how to make an infographic for a certain tool to be used in a classroom to make it more engaging for the students.  I also learned about how to be creative and make it more vibrant for anyone to look at to catch their attention and would make them want to use that app or website. <br><br>The information that I gained from doing this project I would apply it towards my future teaching because I would want my students to know about how to catch people's attention by creating an infographic so, it would catch their attention and teach them how to create a simpler infographic. </div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>https://padlet.com/kaeleyreiko/showcaseprojectSEL<br><br>The Showcase Project would relate to the 4 C's because since it was worked as a group project we learned about collaborating with one another and gathering all the research that we have done to understand what we were reading from the different articles that we have found for our topic.  It also let us become creative with our work to make it interesting for people to read as well.  <br><br>From doing this project I learned on how to create a project using a different website that I am not familiar with and being able to work alongside with partners taught me how to work together with people on a project that deals with technology and a website that we are all not familiar with.  <br><br>From the information that I gained from doing this project I would apply it to my future teaching by having my students work together in groups and have them do a project as well so, they would be able to work together as a whole group to collaborate their thinking together based on a topic that they would be getting. </div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div><a href="https://docs.google.com/document/d/1JJmuZF71VVkcwqv5ywVrFTmxqaPDXfeCJxwoWSTqe_U/edit?usp=sharing">https://docs.google.com/document/d/1JJmuZF71VVkcwqv5ywVrFTmxqaPDXfeCJxwoWSTqe_U/edit?usp=sharing</a> (Lesson Plan Outline)<br><br><a href="http://youtu.be/juIbJ_bKQkA?hd=1">http://youtu.be/juIbJ_bKQkA?hd=1</a> (Lesson Plan Presentation)<br><br>The Technology Integration Lesson Plan associates with all of the learning frameworks and principles because it combines all of the things that we have learned into one big project.  <br><br>Bloom's Digital Technology reflects the creation level because with creating the lesson plan we turned it into a presentation which later on lets us show it for the public to see through social media (YouTube or Vinemo).  The top level shows how we can show our lesson plan to share with the public to see what hard work we have done.<br><br>SAMR is illustrated by redefining the lesson plan into something bigger which is creating it into a video presentation to post it on social media for people to see our lesson plan in action for our future teaching.<br><br>4 C's is related to the lesson plan because it shows the level of creativity throughout the project to create our own presentation about showing our lesson plan in action and being able to collaborate with YouTube or Vinemo to have us present our lesson plan on their site.<br><br>ISTE Standards is apply because as future teachers we are developing a lesson plan using technology to show how we would implement our lesson plan to students.<br><br>From doing this lesson I learned how to use Screen recording for my presentation and I also learned how difficult to shoot for under 3 minutes or under 3 minutes by explaining all the different points.  But, overall I learned how to create a presentation for my lesson plan to make it vibrant for others to see throughout the world.  I can apply what I gained from doing this project to my future teaching by showing it to my future students and to use that lesson if I teach kindergarten and it would be helpful to know what sites I used to create that presentation along with the narration.  <br><br></div>]]></description>

         <title>ED 276: Technology in Education (Kapi&#39;olani Community College Spring 2020) </title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Through these past 8 weeks of this class I learned about different websites to use for the students to be engaged in the classroom and it would help them throughout the school year as well.  Going through this class and learning how to use different websites made me realize how much work it can be to create different projects when digitalizing it and being familiar with the websites' tools to create a great project to catch the audience attention.  <br><br>The most meaningful part for me from taking this class is basically learning about how technology can be super engaging for young children and how we as future teachers can use technology to create something so simple into something that is vibrant and interesting for others to see.  <br><br>The biggest obstacle in this class was not being able to finish the projects on time before the due date because since projects with technology take a huge amount of time to create and make sure that everything is the way that I would want it was really the biggest obstacle for me.  But, thankfully the biggest obstacle with doing everything smashed into 8 weeks made me really manage my time with this class plus other classes along with work and volunteering.  Through this class helped me work on my time management better.  <br><br>The take aways that I got from this course is learning how to create projects with different websites and being able to use technology as a way to incorporate in classes in this century and make it engaging for the students to take a part of in the classroom.  Another take away would be using technology as a way to communicate easier to grab peoples attention and for them to understand how technology can be a helpful tool to use with students.  </div>]]></description>
