1. Some signs that you may observe in others is, They are overly happy or "high" for a while or may be talking very fast.
Another sign is they may feel extremely restless or impulsive .
Having a decreased need for sleep.
2. People often assume things.
Stereotypes like, They switch between manic and depressed moods constantly. Medication is the only solution. they can't hold down a job or start a family.
3. There are a couple local resources/services to help & support those affected with or by this disorder.
- Depression and Bipolar Support (55E Jackson Blvd #490, Chicago, IL)
- Locus Therapy Center (25E Washington St #1210, Chicago,IL)
-Chicago Research Center Inc. ( 3401 N Central Ave, Chicago,IL)
4. An online resource that seems helpful is, Betterhelp.com , it not only helps with this disorder it helps with others as well.
5. If you know someone with this disorder try helping them. Help them by making sure they get the right/appropriate help. You shouldn't ignore or be ashamed by the disorder. You can change someones life by simply helping them as much as you can.
6. Rights that the family members have once their loved one is in a mental health care facility is they are able to visit them when its convenient for both of them.

1.People who suffer of bipolar disorder may experienced major depression and some degree of mania.
People who also suffer from bipolar tend to be intelligent and creative individuals.

Bipolar is difficult to be diagnosed but it really doesn't have to do with your personality because if your anti-social it doesn't mean your bipolar they just don’t like people.
2.The doctors usually focused on depression and mania with prescribed medication to reduce symptoms. The doctors prescribed medication to the people who suffer from severe bipolar so basically if their are stages for bipolar disorder
3.Their are a lot of stages for bipolar but theirs two main stages of bipolar disorder. It’s very important to identify bipolar because bipolar could lead to violent or suicidal behavior.
4.Psychologist,School Psychologist,Clinical Social Worker,Licensed Professional Counselor,Mental Health Counselor,Nurse Psychotherapist,Martial and Family Therapist,Postoral Counselor,Peer Specialists.
5.Bipolar is confusing disease because their is a lot of symptoms and sometimes people relate to most of the symptoms but in reality they don’t really have bipolar they just had a bad day.The symptoms have to have connections with your feelings and actions.
6.Family members should check in everyday how life is going and how was their day like a person would normally do with one another but in this case the family members have to be more discreet with the person who is suffering from bipolar disorder because the person could take it the wrong way.Medical professionals should learn and know how to communicate with the patient or else their isn’t going to be a lot of communication with the person since they could be happy at one moment and the next they could be angry or sad and the medical professional should know what to do when that happens.
