WHAT WORKED:

• _{Highly collaborative, structured around group work across multiple platforms (google docs, google meet, zoom, slack)}

• _{Frequent scheduled presentations in front of peers and subject experts}

• _{Frequent assignments where outputs are posted to shared space}

• _{Submission not only of content (design output) but also documentation of process}

• _{Individual feedback and support sessions could be booked according to tutors' schedules}

• _{Course coordinator was available at any time for support, contactable by email or by slack}

• _{Major presentations were scheduled at the end of the course with prominent figures from outside the school invited as guest judges}

  
  

They then colour coded these nerves based on whether they were only motor (yellow), only sensory (blue) or mixed (green).

This technique really helped me and many other students in the unit & the online class to learn about something as complex as the cranial nerves in such a digestable manner.

To further assist this, they played a video from youtube that was only 6 mins long but still captured all the main aspects we needed to know.
