Secondly, I will define gender as a theme in short stories then provide them with examples of gender roles that take place in the modern world. Then give them a task to write down how they view gender in our society and how they would like to change the traditional gender roles in our society. I will then prescribe them more books to read that express Gender Roles in a more advanced way.
     

    Ask a daring question about language a word they may not have heard before. Describe what the word means, give them a reading piece about the word. Let them write a short paragraph about what the word means to them, combine it afterwards as a group discussion. Combine the language part of the word with culture the history of where the word came from.

     

    I would firstly define the concept of culture to learners. For them to have enough clarity about what the concept is about. Secondly Ask questions to find out how much they know about the concept of Culture. Make examples about everyday situations that show culture and how culture happens in our everyday lives for them to understand better. Create scenarios for them to have a clue and give them tasks to role play different example of cultures. I would prescribe more books where culture is addressed for them to be familiar with identifying culture.
