         <description><![CDATA[<div>Groups of people who face barriers:<br>People with disability (physical and mental), people with culturally diverse backgrounds, the LGBTIQ+ community, women, people of a low SES etc.<br><br>Types of barriers:<br>Language barriers, physical/environmental barriers (e.g. curb cuts, limited ramps), informational barriers, attitudinal barriers (fear or ignorance) etc.<br><br>Types of structural barriers:<br>Doors, stairs, curb cuts, fences, walls.<br>Types of individual barriers:<br>Things that are out of their control: Height, race, SES, age, skill level, disability, gender, and identity.<br><br>Incorporation of ethics:&nbsp;<br>Ethics guides our responses as workers in how to approach these barriers, as well as distinguishing unethical behaviour.<br><br></div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>- Disability, mental health, ESL/ EAL, low socio- economic, ethnically/ culturally diverse, minority religions<br>- Physical- no wheelchair access, social- lack of understanding, not enough access for minority religion depending on location (e.g., limited mosques, halal food etc), limited access to bathrooms for LGBTQIA+ people)<br>- Individual barriers- only one person is having a particular barrier&nbsp;<br>- Structural barriers- many might face this barrier<br>- Ethics guides us when we are deciding what to do when individuals are faced by these barriers</div>]]></description>
