Starting work preparation:
- Sweep the floor
- mop
- clean the toilet
- arranging tables and chairs
- wipe the door 

On work:
- Take the menu, pencil and order paper for customer
- bringing dishes to customers
- clean the table after customer finish eating
- wash the glass

End for the work:
- sweep the floor
- mop
- clean the toilet

Today i had learned how to use the POS computer to take order.

As usual, starting work preparation:
 - Sweep the floor
 - mop
 - clean the toilet
 - arranging tables and chairs
 - wipe the door 
  
Step take order and serve customer: 
-          When the customer make a sit, take the menu, order paper and pencil for customer 
-          Explain to the customer about the menu if they did not understand
-          After the customer complete write their other, I need to use the POS  computer to enter the order. Recheck after I had enter the order yet, to avoid wrong or mistake. 
-          Bring dishes and drinks to customers
-          Try to satisfy the customer (helpful) 
-          Clean up the table after customer finish eating

End for the work:
 - sweep the floor
 - mop 
- wipe the washed tableware and keep it at tableware area
 - clean the toilet
 - put up the chairs on the table

As usual, i need to do start work preparation. Then, Mr Goh are teach me more about POS computer how to take order, print bill, and to be a casier. 
In the afternoon, Mr Goh suddenly received a notice that the customer requested a birthday party (buffet) at 8pm about 25 people attended this birthday party . So, we need to arranging tables and chairs and setup tableware. We need to complete before that customer are coming, such as tableware, food and drink. I learned to make drinks such as cold drink, hot drink, soft drink and mocktails. Different drinks have diffferent step to make it so i need to remember. Mr Goh talked to me something about the important for restaurant hygiene, safety and grooming need for a waitress?

Restaurant hygiene:
- Every area, for example toilet, kitchen, dining area and so on must always cleanliness. Because want let customers make a good impression of our restaurant.
- To retain customers. Hope the customer 
come again.

Safety:
- for example, toilet floor must always keep dry to avoid fall down.
- worker need to wear sport shoes to avoid foot injury.
- child tableware are available to avoid breaking and hurting.

Groming need
- uniform need because of the image for the restaurant and we are a team 
- makeup need because we respect to our work and facing to the guests

As usual, i have to do start work preparation, to be a waitress and also make drinks. Today no more customer when afteenoon, so i used this free time to washed, wiped and arranged the glasses. After that, i also cleaning and arranging tableware area. Unfortunately, I accidentally broke the glass when i washed it but the boss’s father knows, he is not scolded, but calm to tell me to be careful next time. As usual, i do start work preparation, waitess, cashier and today i learned new thing that is how to make an ice cream. Mr Kenneth will always guide me and let me know more about hospitality.

Today i have learned about the responsibility a waitress. To be a waitress not only bring dishes for customers but need strong interpersonal and communication skill. Such as need encourage the guests (recommend and introduce new menus to customers). We can give the customer see the pictures or explain the ingredient of the dishes. Furthermore, need to learned resolve the problem with ourself, for example, the rice are empty so we need to tell the customer as soon as possible and try to give them suggestion or we can recommend other dishes for them. Finally, we must answering any question the guests may have, also need creative to create good memory for customers.

I entered wrong drink in POS system, I remake the drink and say sorry to that customer. I also mistake the 13th table are tranfer table to 9th table, I was mistaken when the customer at the 9th table paid, I didn't pay attention, let her pay bill of the 13th table. The boss’s father taught Next time I will pay more attention and be carefulme how to solve this kind of problem. Next time I will pay more attention and be careful. And also let them know the ingredients and taste of the new dishes. Some of the customers dont know how to write down the order, I will teach them or help them to write down. In this short 10 day, I have learned something news and also learned how to deal with different customers and different problem.
