Koalas' favorite trees are eucalyptus trees that must grow on fertile soil. Koalas live above the trees and perform most of their activities at night. The beautiful Koalas sleep about 20 hours a day and do not spend much energy. Koalas feed on usually eucalyptus leaves and the bark of some fruits.

One of the main reasons that the Koala is in danger of extinction is by hunting to get their coat, since it is very soft brown or platinum gray. This Koala fur sells it as collectibles and to make expensive coats.

There are currently laws in Australia that protect Koala as well as other animals that are in danger of extinction. It is our responsibility to save these animals that are in danger.
