There are people in this world who are dangers to society if they are left alive, and this is why the capital punishment is necessary. As the issue book says, most inmates released from jail didn't learn from their mistakes and ended up in prison within 5 years of their release. If people don't learn from their mistakes, there is no point of letting them go.
