2. What can be the reason for equipment not being written in the lab record?An IBSE activity should be na activity to explore, not a receipt. Students could have guidance, but they should find the way for the answer to the question. Materials are in the lab and they must find the tools needed.
3. Why should students start with tasks 2 – 3 – 4? This tasks corresponds to the initial path of inquiry: Looking back and make predictions.
4.  Monitoring.
5.  Discovery, testing, making observations, record, comunnication between peers, making normal errors... being students!
6.  What can you say about the activity evaluation (from the point of view of general study-skills and later Chemistry)? By resuming the activity, students remembered what they have done. By identifying the difficulties they recognize the importance of teamwork, planning, recording - general competencies
7. What do you think about students‘ hypotheses? Would the hypotheses of your students be different?  The hyphoteses depends on the background of each student and also from the consulting material available for the initial research about what is starch, which food aliments have it. If the hyphoteses comes only from looking at the initial reagentes and materials, the hyphoteses made by students are normal.No. Probably my students would make the same hypotheses.
8.     Why do you think it’s importante.... It seems a
boring activity looking at students faces. Maybe teacher was training
students basic skills like resume and recording information from documents(vídeo and text)... importante, yes!
9. What was the aim of the final revision? Make conclusions of the lab activity and interconnection to daily life.

From the description of the teachers it seems they follow inquiry learning steps: create/suggest a problema; review the knowledg; set hypothesis, more questions; Setting up a research or experimente; gather data/observations; that led to results/conclusions; and finally comunicate. Both ideas seems interesting to students from 14-16 but the hardware to measure UV and CO2 levels, i don´t have it in my classroom. Maybe with more time if we build as an arduino Project...hummm why not?!

Human evolution happens when after solving a problema, the solution is communicate to the next generation. So new discoveries in other fields helps to find a solution to a problema in life sciences. Maths, languages, phylosophy, social sciences, psycology, ... If we pick a subject and ask to colleagues from diferente disciplines how they could teach this subject in their classroom, we will common ways to teach it.
