The lungs of our earth

reaching for their companion
mycelium network fungi
communicating, warnings,
comforting, feeding
interacting with plants and trees

The arrival of spring
with explosions of blossom
insects and bees
The temprature is warming
her leaves creeping out
creating a coat of green
from the leaves
messages are sent
a warning, a call
a gas, a scent

Leaves are turning
a storm is approaching
whilting and bedraggled
a drought is upon us
roots reaching deeper
drawing up water
to nourish the leaves
"whoop whoop crackle 
crackle whoop whoop" 
the sound of her heart beat

Summer fades
autumn arrives
seeds are sprinkled

glowing oranges
browns abound

All legal decisions relating to trees must take place in the sacred space of a grove where at least 3 tree guardians / elders are present from diverse species. Their voice must form part of the decision. If a conclusion is not reached unanimously between tree and human, the nominated tree guardian has the casting vote.

2. It is a trees right to have it’s whole ecosystem considered before it’s life is curtailed by human hands or machine. By consideration, it is meant that a log of all beings other than human with a physical or energetic connection to the tree be logged, consulted, and heard. All responses will be read in a public space at noon at each of the eight festivals of the wheel for a whole cycle. If any one being or collective is to be irreversibly harmed by the curtailment of the trees life then it should not happen.

3. As trees have strength and flexibility to stand / withstand through storm & flood; then this standing shall be translated to the written and practice of legal standing. Let it be so!
