Response: This quote is very symbolic of the book because of it's meaning to the main character, Emika Chen. The quote basically means "Every problem has a solution." This original quote is tattooed on Emika's collarbone, which she got after her dad died because this was a quote he frequently said to her when he was still alive.

I like sweets. You all know this. Ice cream is one of my favorite sweets. I do not take my ice cream lightly. When I get ice cream, you can bet that I'm gonna savor it.

Well the other day, I was at a restaurant reading Wildcard and I ordered ice cream. It arrived and then it melted. Why? Because I WAS SO IMMERSED IN THIS BOOK THAT I COULDN'T THINK ABOUT ANYTHING ELSE BECAUSE THAT'S HOW GOOD IT IS.

Marie did an amazing job writing this conclusion to a fantastic duology. The character development is remarkable, the heartbreaking bits are soul-crushing, the happy bits made me grin like an idiot. There's one specific villain in here who I wanted to kick in the face, and the entire thing was so cleverly plotted. It is a WONDERFUL book and I highly recommend that everyone read it.

But Marie, you owe me ice cream b/c it's 100% your fault that mine melted before I could eat it.

https://www.goodreads.com/review/show/2360250293?book_show_action=true&from_review_page=1

I 100% agree with this review, except that she gave the book 5 stars. I would personally give it 4-4.5 stars due to me not liking some parts of the book. I was also very tuned into the book while reading it. It definitely left me on the edge of my seat. The diversity in characters and their growth through out the book was spectacular. I would also recommend this duology to anyone who enjoys science fiction.

Charles Melton: Hideo Tanaka
I decided to cast Charles Melton as Hideo Tanaka due to him being of asian descent and also due to him being an amazng actor who would be able to pull off the role and look of Hideo. Although he is 28 years of age while Hideo is in his early 20s, he still looks the part of the character and would also play the character very well.

I really enjoyed the part where the true villain of the novel is revealed. There were many people the main character Emika Chen believed were the villain throughout the two books, the one revealed was not one of them though, which made for a very good plot twist. I also the diversity of characters, the imagery and the development of each of the characters throughout the entirety of the novel

Although she is british I believe she can pull off the american accent that Emika has. She would also be able to pull off the rainbow hair that Emika is described having in the book.
