An act or means of sealing off a place to prevent goods or people from entering or leaving. For example,the Longwood police put up a blockade near the school. The blockade prevented me from going in the bank because it was robbed.

It is the act of ending a system, practice, or institution. For example, ending slavery. African Americas were no longer bought and sold. When Florida became a state, most black people were free.

A crop produced for its commercial value rather than for use by the grower.  Florida farmers grow cotton to sell to the manufacturers. It is number 9 on the list of Florida cash crops. The farmer has many crops to sell.

A person who buys land.For example, Florida has many rich land developers. Walt Disney World developed a lot of land and is famous.

Zephyrhills is a city in Florida. It is the home of Zephyrhills bottled water company. The company sells their water nationwide and produces a lot of income.

Lake Okeechobee is the largest lake in Florida. It is also the 7th largest freshwater lake in the US. People swim, boat, and fish there.

to snorkel, scuba dive, and enjoy the oceans.

of different tropical fish and sea life to see.

Florida has many old sunken pirate ships off its coasts. It is home to many treasure hunters eager to gain riches and gold. many of the shipwrecks are Spanish.

The yellow tailed snapper fish is abundant in the Gulf of Mexico. They are usually found on the coral reefs. People like to eat it because of its light, flaky meat.

Miami Marlins is a national league baseball team in Miami, FL. The team is in the eastern divison of major league baseball. Their home is the Marlins Park.
