Ans) I was surprised by the twist (where we switched sides during 1 topic of the debate).

Ans) I'm excited to debate about more topics with my friends.

One thing that surprised me today was the art of switching sides and that requires thinking flexibly and critical thinking to change your stance at the last moment.

Debate helps us to learn the art of conveying persuasive and logical arguments, critical thinking, thinking flexibly and how to think interdependently.

I am excited about actually doing a live debate as that is an extremely galvanizing event.

I got surprised with the amount of participation allowed. It's fun to watch everyone's opinion and their explanations, it's very entertaining and makes me feel inspired to form my words as well.

Debate helps us learn to switch our perspectives and helps us be more free thinking and grow our empathy! Which are very good skills in the future of course.

I would really like to participate soon and try my utmost best to grow my own confidence further as well.

As a person who is debating it helps to think and speak properly, but as a one who is listening to a debate it helps the person to come to conclusion after hearing to both the points.

What surprised me and I'm sure many people as well is the fact that the roles, opposition and proposition, we're able to switch for both sides, making it more challenging yet knowledgeable.

Debates help us think open-mindedly and flexibly, Though we are arguing, we still get to understand each others points!

Probably getting a chance to debate next time! I'd love to test out my skills and see how well i could do!
