When you do or when you're told to do something which conflicts with your opinion or ideology its mostly fear that makes you abide by these orders or actions. For example, you could be afraid of getting critisized by your parents or afraid of not succeeding so you cheat on an exam. The current president of Egypt is leading the Egyptians by fear. He doesn’t allow any opposition from the citizens and does whatever he wishes to do nowadays after reaching the chair without worrying about the people revolting. This is because he is a military man and has the military behind him, and so force is used to oppose any objections and make the country seem peaceful.
