our card game is gonna be like play like Pokémon in terms of evolving your creature / card to be stronger and then using the higher stats such as strength / intelligence to defeat your opponent like in top trumps.

18 cards – 5 Characters and 13 Manifests, a few Characters have their own Manifests while some are standalone. Up to 5 players will play a game, with each player choosing their preferred Character and being dealt 2 Manifests when the game starts.

Each player assumes the role of a researcher at the Antarctic station.
They have to uncover who among them is the Thing
The Thing is disguised as one of their own researchers.
Aim of the game is to survive and identify the Thing before it takes control of the entire team.
To win as the Thing – Thing has to infect the majority of the players or survive until the end without being identified.
At the end of each round players discuss, Play action cards and may accuse one another.

Character Cards

Each player is dealt a character card, each character has a unique special ability, that can influence the game play.

Infection Cards

Played only by Thing, at the end of each round Thing can choose to play an infection card on any player, once the player has been infected, that character becomes a 'Hidden Thing' they still play their action cards but must subtly influence the game without revealing their identity. If an infected player is accused and the majority vote agrees they must reveal their true identify, if they are the Thing they are eliminated. If not, the accuser loses a trust token.

Action Cards

Players can draw action cards that allow them to investigate, sabotage or defend against the Thing.

Event Cards

Randomly drawn cards that create unexpected situations, equipment failure or environmental hazards.

Trust Tokens

Players can earn or lose trust tokens based on their actions, which can be used to vote on accusations or defend themselves during challenges.

The card game is based on FrostPunk a popular city builder, the setting is based in England in an alternate 19th century where a never ending winter looms over the player, as they decide moral decisions and must keep the city alive no matter what. 4 Players will receive 1 generator card, they have to match 3 cards with other players much like the rules of trio, the player at the end with the most matches wins, other cards can be used to sabotage other players

The game can be played with up to four players, there are 9 pairs of cards, each representing a different mythical creature or cryptid. The cards will be laid flat face down, each player takes a turn flipping 2 cards, if they get two of the same card, they get a match, and get to keep it. If they don’t get a match, they have to turn the cards back over. Some cards have special qualities, such as a few matches of cards that allows you to steal another match from another player, some matches let you look at a third card after getting it, but you have to turn it back over, and a match that will protect you from your cards getting stolen. The aim of the game is to get the most matches after all the cards have been matched.

Kind of a yuigho style \ Pokémon I want it to have a layout sheet so players have specific place for cards to go and each sheet can be different for example have different biomes on them this will link to the game as have different biomes can boost their characters ability's.

How the players decide who starts first will come to a coin toss or rock paper scissor its up to the players to really decide .

Theme\ background fantasy/magic/forest (will be different environments)

Both players must start with both characters in hand and then draw from the deck.

Characters stats are going to add up to 360
