"Harold and the Purple Crayon" by Crockett Johnson was one of the first books I read as a little kid. This book was very calming to me when someone else would read it and I was very amused by the cover of the book. This book was kept in my room for whenever I would want to read it, and was one of my favorites to read as a child.

As far as I can remember since 2nd grade my sister has loved to read in her free time and finds books to read all the time. On the other hand my dad majored in English at James Madison University, so he has found English and reading to be fun for a long time because he studied it.

“Harry Potter” by J.K Rowling is one of my least favorite book/movie series. Around elementary school when everyone started to read and watch the movies, I refused to read them because I didn't like magic type movies and books. Even though i didn't read them, I still knew enough about it to not be clueless when someone asked me a question about it.
