Background information: This security guard, who was above the age of 65, who had been working and saving money for many years. During these times, he lived a simple life, buying 2-3 new clothes yearly and eating plain foods; refusing to spend a dollar on luxury. After tirelessly saving on money for the past few decades, he amassed a total fund of 60k which he selflessly donated to a charity on his birthday.

A woman in Texas launched a Facebook page that went a long way in providing a new life to a homeless man. Ginger Sprouse met Victor Hubbard - a patient of mental illness - on a street corner where he waited daily to reunite with his mother who had abandoned him.
Volunteers on Ginger’s Facebook page, ‘This Is Victor’, helped him get shelter, medical appointments, and a job as a chef after he spent three years as a homeless man.

The first teacher is Ms. Garcia, mother of 4, known to be a “sweet, loving and kind teacher” who considered her students to be her relatives and children, sacrificed her life to protect her students. Ms Garcia died with her ‘children’ in her arms trying to keep them safe, according to the article. 

The second one is Ms. Eva, who jumped in front of her students to take the bullet to save their lives. Her daughter reminisces about her life, and promised to her late mother on Facebook to “say your name so you will always be remembered”.
