Hospitals flooded with critically ill, people warned to stay home, government being shut down, and a global health crisis spreading faster by the minute. Healthcare professionals on the verge of being mentally unwell. No relief coming in sight. 
 Everything comes in waves. Little girls seeing women in our military show strength and bravery. If women are shown only as a pretty face or an object, children will grow up thinking that this is acceptable. By pointing out the mishaps on posters, shows and toys can make the biggest difference. Making these changes in our environment will give children a more positive mindset and help them learn and grow. Now, as a society we are working on the ideas of being misgendered and making things unisex. It helps and gives children the freedom to be open on how they feel and how they want to look. It's becoming more and more apparent that women aren't seen as mens equals and growing up playing sports I witnessed it first hand. For women we just want to feel appreciated and like we have a place in the sports world, and if we continue to keep fighting there is hope. There is a chance that factors such as pay and media coverage will become equal and more importantly women will feel valued.
