Original ideas: 

• A day in the life - photograph every object you touch in a day and try to make a narrative of your self based on that - create a photoshopped background of these images 
  • however potentially wouldn’t tell much about what inspires me
• A collection of objects I use frequently to tell a story of me - e.g. dog lead coffee packet, umbrella (GSA) crochet, Almodovar set, plant, book of Jose Zanine Caldas 
  • Tells more about what inspires me
• Conclusion - things I surround myself with that inspire me - more broad topic, show my inspiration but also about my personality etc

Artist who inspires me is Frida Kahlo - use of symbolism in her art - could create a background around me similar to Frida Kahlo symbolism - what inspires me/what I like to surround myself with

surround myself with objects/images sectioned into themes : 

• what activities I like doing (walking, violin, photography etc)
• design inspiration/ideas (Jose Zanine Caldas, William root etc)
• Type of environment I work in (morning, natural light, quiet, easy to communicate with at least one person etc)
• Materials I have used / enjoy using

Conclusion - Want a more specific theme - most inspirational things to me come from my cultural background: mums English and have lived in the uk my whole life - inspiration that stems from this is my education, where my friends and family are, the exhibitions I go to, my hobbies (e.g. I learnt violin because of my mum and I do cold water swimming) and english is my first language
more regulated and solid, shown in the layout of the photos/drawings I have put together - like Paula zucotti who depicts a day in the life with her images

However I feel more culturally Colombian shown through the artisits and designers I am drawn to - e.g. Frida Kahlo who paints in the genre of magical realism (surrealism) which is a has South American roots, Lina bo Bardi (Brazilian designer/architect), Jose Zanine Caldas (also Brazilian ecological and raw designer - chisels away at fallen tree trunks), my religious influences
these influences are less solid more abstract - shown in the layout of the images

I think this strong sense of nationality comes from internationality
