I suggested a discussion forum in Moodle as it allows the student to type, audio record or video record their response. In this instance she used a case study and asked the learners to post their opinion before then responding to at least two other people's posts. She wanted to provide her students with an alternative to writing as most of her students were foreign nationals and found writing in English difficult. We did a trial run where we asked each student to record something about themselves in response to my mentee's post about herself. The mentee explained what was expected and then I helped support her by going through the process of recording a video.
