         <description><![CDATA[<div>I am still not sure of S/S of placental separation.  in the book it  states: spherical shaped uterus, cord descends further from the vagina,  uterus rises upward towards the abdomen as placenta descends and pushes the fundus upward, and a gush of blood appears. i want to know why these would happen. i kind of understand why a gush of blood would come, but wouldn't a gush of blood come anyways? all that amniotic fluid mixed with blood....</div>]]></description>
