I like this book because the moral of the story which is - "you actions might hurt others" can be related to people of any age. The Mystery of the Masked Medalist

" written by Olympic medalists Maia Shibutani and Alex Shibutani. It's an elementary read so more appropriate for the K2 kids. 
For preschool kids, I've heard great things about the book "Franklin's Flying Bookshop" and the illustrations are beautiful.

I love that it's easy to read, it has interesting and wonderfully drawn pictures.
