I started by adding a hue saturation layer, followed by desaturation get the image. I started by using the crop tool, inorder To cut out any unwanted items did so by tracing it using the polygon lasso tool. Once I had selected the part of the image I wanted in colour, I went to the tool bar at the top of photoshop where I used the invert feature from the image tool bar.
