It's very similar to a debate. For our first Socratic Seminar, we spoke about the topic of bullying because that was the theme of a book we had just finished, The Wastons Go to Birmingham. This story tells about a girl and a guy becoming friends, despite judgement from other students, until one day a tragic event occurrs.
