I expect soap to be better at removing the bacteria due to it being commonly use to wash your hands.Typically your mom says to wash your hands with soap not wash your hands with sanitizer. Soap is used because it works better but sanitizer is used when you don't have soap or you're on the go.

We were testing the question "Which kills the most bacteria soap and water or hand sanitizer. We were measuring how much bacteria was on the Petri Dishes to see which soap or hand sanitizer worked better. The constant in this was when we swabbed gabe's dirty hand before applying anything like soap or hand sanitizer.

Some data that stands out is how gabes hand had a whopping 2670 Bacteria!! It was crazy seeing that but sanitizer says they kill 99.9 of bacteria well they did not they killed about 97.2 percent of bacteria which is still pretty impressive but soap did a better job with around 98% of bacteria killed saying they had to do more work due to an error. This supports my hypothesis how soap would work better and I was right since soap killed more bacteria.

Yes my data supports my hypothesis because the graph and results show that the soap did a better job killing all of the bacteria. I feel soap is better when at a public place/bathroom or a bathroom at home but hand sanitizer is nice to keep on you or in your car just in case you need it and its a lot easier to carry.

Three ways our lab results might have not been as accurate because we washed gabes hand with soap and then got it dirty again. We should have washed one hand with soap and one with hand sanitizer. Something we could have done better was time management we started rushing in the last few minutes of class. Then we should have just done an overall better job on our chart and actually using our brains to think.
