we have come up with an idea for the third micro action about fingerprinting, its colonial history, and its contemporary 'use'.

however, there were many limits to the execution so we decided to change the concept completely.
we went with the idea of displaying artwork (a manifesto made of cardboard) and shifted from the idea of directly engaging with the audience.

The front cover: Although this world map appears to be 'upside down' and a distorted representation of our planet, Earth is a sphere in space where distinctions such as 'up' and 'down' are purely conventions. Our planet appears differently from different points in space.

We made a collage of different quotes, artworks, and other visual elements that embrace a different worldview that contests dominant narratives.

we 'recycled' the idea from our first microaction and hung up a dove inside the 'planetary manifesto'

Aim

The core idea was to create an object that 'synthesizes' different visions of our future in hope of inspiring people to question the conventions of our society that we have been taught to regard as 'natural' and universal.

Where could this be displayed (on/off campus)?
What measures can we take to avoid it getting stolen/vandalized?

We should have made sure to put it somewhere visible for the public. That would engage the community with our micro action and we would probably get some valuable feedback. Also what we would add to this micro action is going outside of campus and engaging with the non-UCU people.
