In the article the author says that manufactures are complaining that their products are too expensive to make. But on the good side, they are making a move on saving the environment. Plastic can be useful to people because almost everything is made from plastic. In the article it talks mostly about the bad things that plastic can do to the world. Another part it talks about some of it good uses like how if makes most of out things. So in the end I think that plastic is fine and should not be baned.

A two edged sword means that you can use it for good, or for other horrible bad things. It is a good, and bad thing because you can use it to eat ( Good ) And it can be used as a deadly weapon in some occasions (bad). I don't think it is a good thing because, 99.9% of people use it as a helpful thing to help you eat instead of going to a fancy store and buying a pack of forks for $10. But the other .1% of people use it as knives instead of forks for who knows why...It is also very bad for the enviroment for example, america throws 10 million+ garbage away making the enviroment horrible and trashy. I can, but cant understand why France would ban forks.

For example, plastic cutlery is very commonly used to eat, and makes us many items used in everyday life. I agree with France's ban on plastic cutlery, because many people have access to non-plastic utensils, and it will help make the world a better and cleaner place.
