This piece is full of tiny parts that make up one big story. It's just so real, so honest. This is supposed to represent Aphrodite, the goddess of love, who is said to be the most attractive woman of all. To me, she looks like she could be a perfectly normal, average woman. Seeing Egyptian art has always sparked this special part of my heart that yearns to learn more about everything surrounding it. I've always loved Egyptian art, and this is pretty much the flagship piece beside a few other examples. I've actually got a miniaturized bust of Nefertiti on my desk, carved from crystal.
