So far I have read 300 pages of the book The House of Hades. The book citation is Riordan, Rick. The House of Hades. Disney- Hyperion Books, 2013.
Summary:
Currently up to page 300, Percy and Annabeth meet a Titan in Tartarus, He used to be their old friend. The titan is guiding Annabeth and Percy through Tartarus. Above ground is a different story for their friends. The other five members of team had to take a five day detour to avoid an army but the path they are taking is still extremely dangerous. The team got set back when they were attacked by the two dwarfs they were seeking but eventually forced them for help. Another thing, Hazel is now using her ability to use magic, and its going to help a boat load in the future.

Character Chart:
Percy Jackson- Son of Poseidon, one of main characters. He is dating Annabeth. The connection between him and his father become stronger and stronger through out the story line.
Annabeth Chase-  Daughter of Athena, one of the main characters, dating Percy. She is basically the leader of the group. She is very smart and is always calm.
Hazel Levesque- Daughter of Pluto, one of the main characters, dating Frank. She can summon precious metal out of the ground and she has the ability to use magic or the mist.
Frank Zhang- Son of Mars, one of the main characters. He can also shape shift and when hes really mad he can take out a whole army by him self.
Piper McLean- Daughter of Aphrodite. Piper always feels useless but little does she know her charm speak does so much.
Coach Hedge- A satyr that watches over the seven. Hes basically the crazy uncle everyone has to deal with during thanks giving. But he has a good heart and will do anything for the seven.

Time period:
Rick Riordan was born on June 5, 1964 in San Antonio, Texas. He is currently 54 and still alive thankfully. The Percy Jacson series was inspired by his daughter Haley as bed time stories, but as we can see he took it farther than that. He based the main character Percy Jackson who has dyslexia and ADHD just like his daughter.
