Favorite places in Europe

I like both the South with its warm climate and beautiful weather and the North with its wonderful people. My favorite places visited so far are the Canary Islands, the Dutch coast, the Swedish lakes, the Swiss Alpes, the French coasts, Italy's Tuscany and Emilia Romagna, the Croatian coast and the Scottish highlands.

For 15 years, I worked in R&D of the car manufacturer Daimler and helped to improve car safety by computer simulation.

Teaching

Since 2013, I am professor of mechanical engineering at DHBW Stuttgart. The subjects i teach are mostly basic subjects like mechanics, physics, computer programming, vibrations, acoustics, optics, computer simulation. Since 2020, I am programme coordinator of electrical engineering in automation.

Erasmus Project EFEU

In this project ("Emission Free European Universities"), together with my colleagues from Europe, I want to give young people the opportunity to meet other people from various countries and the experience to work together in an international frame on the topic of sustainability and climate change.
